The £250 p/a deal that Richard mentions on the Royal St David’s at Harlech seems like a good deal. Tempted myself if it were a bit closer.

There’s a reason it’s cheap, Harlech is a complete pain to get to.

Isle of Harris GC Life Membership is now £350 and there is a Life Members tournament every August. I play in the tournament every two years but tour some part of Scotland every year. It is a nine hole course but the views are superb.
