I caddied mostly at my home club - Springdale, in Princeton, NJ which no longer has a caddie program. Bill Campbell - Pres of USGA, US Amatuer winner, 2x Sr Amatuer champ and first Captain of the R & A from the US was the most famous golfer that I caddied for. Also caddied for two Governors of NJ.
It would be great to have caddies again at Springdale, I may try to install a “caddies on call” type of program. Most members do not want to spend the money to take caddies regularly.
