I was at a meal last night with a person that is on Nike Golfs Digital Design team and he was telling about the meeting that was had about what to say if Tiger won at Bay Hill. This was actually the 3rd option they came up with. The reasoning was that Tiger always says this at press conferences when asked about returning to the top ranking. Hind sight they would have done something different but they love the buzz that it creates because they realize you are either pro Tiger or anti Tiger, not many are in the middle.

He's more famous for marital infidelity.

You are not serious!!!
You truly believe that statement/
That somebody on the Plains of the Rift Valley for instance sees a picture of Tiger Woods and thinks of his sexual prowess ahead of his golf game...Please, get seriuos.
That comment probably only applies to a very limited nuber of people who buy into this crazed trash press induced frenzy that revolves around peoples Private lives.

Do people really remember JFK as a bonking anything that moves egomaniac?

I think you misunderstood. Tiger is more famous for marital infidelity than for saying winning is everything. People who know nothing about golf (most of the world) know about his marital infidelity, and have no idea of or could care less about what he says.
