Azalea Invitational...Round 1 to Round 2...What did they do to the course?

check out the numbers...big drops (over 10 strokes in some cases) from round one to round two.

anyone there? was it weather? the course? the halfway house?

Thursday was cold and windy. Yesterday wasnt great but much nicer.

No. Been at cc of chasn forever. Think the dogwood is at druid hills.

I was at Country Club of Charleston this morning for a meeting - they had at least 5 inches of rain overnight and early morning.  The reason I heard for the score differences, besides the cold and wind on Day 1, was the quality of the greens - firm and very fast.  A lot of the field just wasn't used to that level of quality this early in the year.
