The Perfect Swing Redux,,gca swing weekend?
« on: March 21, 2013, 09:29:56 AM »
I am not one for promoting or considering the undertaking of a get together, especially having witnessed how hard Howard workwed to get the Streamsong trip put together...but...
The name of Dan Whittaker has come up several times in the Perfect Swing thread ans so there are some of us who are interested enough to watch his videos in the aim of learning.
As I have mentioned I have worked with Dan for about three years now and he ventures across the pond several times a year, both as a friend and to torture me with new information.

Every year he conducts a school of sorts on Ft Worth, I say of sorts brcause it is as much a seminar as a school.
Plenty of time to get your individual swing analysed and suggestions made, but the experience goes beyong that and into a better understanding of what makes the golf swing work, both in general and YOUR swing.

If there was any interest I think I could set up a LIMITED EDITION course for gca members..
any interest out there?

At Colonial with playing privileges?  Or maybe Shady Oaks, that would be appropriate!

Actually at Mira Vista but a side trip to play at either of the above mentioned courses may be possible.

Michael:

I would be interested, particularly if it is scheduled next fall.  My son is starting at SMU this August.

Not the best time to be in that hellhole of a sauna that is known as Big D!

(That's when I moved there in 1978!)

It might be ok at the campus suntanning area my son has told me about.

That will just raise the temperature!
