Bill,
I hit driver 3 iron day one and driver 4 iron day two, so the driver ,wedge wedge sounds about right.
And I am in no way a long hitter, quite short really, straight but short.

I only wish I was as short as MWP.  I understand that we play a course according to its overall length but I think that the problem is the length of the back nine on Red.  It is approximately 3550 from the Black tees so I enjoyed it much more playing it from the Silver after playing the front from the Black.  Say you move up the tee for the 18th on the Black and make it a par 4 of around 460 yards;  you then have a par 35 playing around 3500 yards - ouch! This is the predicament when you have such a dramatic yardage difference between the front and the back.
