Jaeger, I disagree with you here, bud. These prints are really well-designed. Simple, informative, uncluttered, strong contrast, yet balanced, and a nice monochrome color scheme. They don't need to be detailed to get their point across, but they're detailed enough with bunkering, exact green and fairway shapes, hydrology, and tree lines to keep you interested once you're looking at them up close. The white on green pops from across a room and draws the viewer in. Then when they get their face in front of the print they find all the little nuances.
No need to make these bigger. They're unique right now. They offer a take on golf course routing that no one else is offering. One can stand on it's own or 3+ can create a striking piece. What's the upside of going bigger? Room for more detail? Why do that when it would just become like every other routing map out there. Making something bigger is usually just a cop out to save a poor design. Ironically, it just ends up emphasizing how bad the work really is.
