Whistling Straits is about a mile from I-43. You can't see the interstate from the course, however. The 6th green and 7th tee at Blackwolf Run River are about 500 feet from I-43; I think you can see them from the interstate.

Lost Dunes has Interstate 94 running right through the middle of the property.  7 holes on the east side of the interstate and 11 on the west side.

Josh beat me to Trophy Club.  The Warren Course is pretty close to the Indiana Turnpike.  You can see a little of the 17th from the highway if you look at the right time.  Point O' Woods is right where I-196 splits off from I-94.

You usually can't hear yourself think standing on the second tee of Point O'Woods. I-94 is about 60 feet away.

If you can show me an interstate stretch with more golf courses LITERALLY on its perimeter than I-90 from Rochester NY to Albany NY, I will eat a filet mignon that you purchase for me AND drink a tall Guinness with it. The FM must be cooked and the Guinness, cold.

Ravenwood (late Robin Nelson) and Mill Creek (Paul Albanese) are the two moderns that we brag about. I could probably list another 6-8 courses along that run that abut the highway.

In the 25 mile strech from Vail to Red Sky Ranch of I-70 up near vail there are 10 courses.  I have to admit I didn't play a single one in my four years in CO.

There is also a fair number of courses that can be seen on I-25 from Colorado Springs to Denver.

I've about driven off the highway trying to look at Rock Manor, in Delaware, and that was before I knew Lester George redid it.

It is tucked in the crook of I-95 and an exit ramp as you drive south into Wilmington.

Anyone know of any projects where the developer deemed a location along an interstate corridor a selling point in their business plan? Are there operations out there where direct interstate exposure has added significantly to the golf course's bottom line?

The three Turning Stone courses (the Rick Smith, the RTJ2 and the Fazio) are also within 1/4 mile of the interstate. The Smith borders it, the deuce borders that one and the Fazio is 1/4 mile (maybe 1/2) inland from the highway.

Just south of Medford, OR on I-5 there's John Fought's Centennial GC.  Sevillano Links is not visible from I-5 near Redding, CA, but the casino is
