Weather forecast looks cold and windy but, crucially, dry(ish).

Really looking forward to this and catching up with people on Thursday evening/Friday.
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

And that's after it warms up in the afternoon!

After my experience this last weekend in - degrees, snow and windforce 5 that's going to feel like summer. Looking forward to it. Freezing my tail off in London today though. Hope the jet lag is gone by Thursday....

Not held a golf club since November 11 and with this freezing weather, I'm not inclined to until we stand on the 1st tee on Friday!  Looking forward to it immensely.

The sun is shinning, the courses are "optimisitc (but you can't quote us on that)" that there will be no frost delays.

2 overseas guys are here and the third is currently starting his descent over the Irish Sea.

See you all soon.

Thanks Tony
Let's make GCA grate again!

RWN is quite a traditional club.  Any value in jacket and tie for those of us having lunch there tomorrow?

From the RWN website: "Golfing attire is allowed in the Clubhouse. Tailored shorts may be worn by men, but only with knee length socks."
So don't forget your knee-length socks.

Brisk weather or not I wish I were joining y'all at Brancaster. My visit there is still six months off (actually only 173 days!!!) but you've got quite a fun assortment of characters and I'm sure the course itself will be awesome. So here's to good weather and at least mediocre-to-acceptable golf!

Damn, forgot to pack my shorts.  Is it worth popping home before jumping on the train this afternoon?

Really looking forward to getting down there - hope those who are playing today have fun in the (albeit cold) sun.

Neil.
