My copy arrived today.
I would have liked more on the history and development of golf clubhouses but there is just a small introduction of about 3 pages and then there are 45 profiles. There is also a foreword by Jack Nicklaus and a rather poor poem by RTJ, Jr. called, "Ode to the Clubhouse."
Each profile has some very well done photographs and a very short write-up of about 5 or 6 paragraphs. No floor plans but there is a nice watercolor site plan of each clubhouse, done by the author, that shows the relationship of the building to the course's starting and finishing holes, practice areas, etc. It's a coffee table book.
There are some surprising omissions such as NGLA, Rviera, Seminole, Skibo, Garden City, Royal Troon, and North Berwick.
