1. I would love to play at Augusta National. Who wouldn't. Having played a course before while watching a major championship being contested on it is always a thrill. At Augusta I could play it once and repeat that experience every year for the rest of my life.

2. Merion. And not just because the US Open is coming there. It's been a course I've thought would be great to play for almost as long as I've cared about the fact that some courses are greater than others.

3. The Old Course. No reason not to have played there other than havnig been too busy with other plans. I'll play there one day, I'm sure. Hope it qualifies for this particular quiz.

1. Augusta National - I've been fortunate to walk the grounds a few times during The Masters and I think it would be a real treat to actually play the course.

2. Pine Valley - The beauty of the place and the difficulty of the course would be a fun test of golf.

3. Shinnecock - I guess for the rare opportunity to experience a great course in a beautiful area.

Honorable Mention: Royal Dornoch - I was supposed to play on my last trip to Scotland but missed out due to delay at O'Hare (I hate that place).

Fortunate to have played many of the great courses except for the three above.  My top three played: Cypress Point, Royal County Down, Muirfield,.
2024 Line Up: Spanish Oaks GC, Cal Club, Cherokee Plantation, Huntercombe, West Sussex, Hankley Common, Royal St. Georges, Sunningdale New & Old, CC of the Rockies, Royal Lytham, Royal Birkdale, Formby, Royal Liverpool, Swinley Forest, St. George's Hill, Berkshire Red, Walton Heath Old, Austin GC,

This is a hard one:

No particular order

Cypress Point
Shinnecock
Valley Club

These are ones that I would want to play and would be ok not telling anyone about it. It would be hard to choose one of the others and not see the clubhouse and history such as AGNC, Oakmont, NGLA.

1. Cypress Point
2. Pine Valley
3. ANGC

Yup, extremely boring choices but they're probably the 3 best courses I have yet to play and three that have an allure beyond the quality of the golf...

Agreed.  My only slightly less obvious alternate list is

Shinnecock Hilss
Sand Hills
Oakmont
