Atlanta Get-together????
« on: March 02, 2013, 09:43:54 AM »
Is there any interest in another get together for Atlanta area GCA'ers?

I would be happy to organize.  Was thinking about a 2 day affair, in May or June, maybe on a Mon/Tuesday.

What courses are you folks interested in?  Does anyone have connections or membership at a certain course, where they could sponsor a group.  I am a member of Eagle Watch, a wonderful Arnold Palmer layout.  I would be happy to have a group there. Rivermont is always another possibility, I can see if that is an option.

What say you Atlanta?

I believe there is one scheduled already in mid April.

Or have I been misinformed?

Geez, I have plane tickets..

Dr. Greco,

It is a non-stop party here in A town.  We hardly ever work.  All we do is have GCA get togethers.

In all seriousness, I am glad to hear that you are coming in mid April.  That is a VERY good time to be in GA.

Wade:

I'm happy you confirmed this for me.

Will look forward to seeing you again and the rest of your cast of characters to hoist a fine spirit together.

That is unless El Bogero the Southern Gentleman from the great state of Tennessee is present. If that's the case guess watered down light beer and unshelled peanuts will suffice.

There are worse things in life..

The Other Good Doctor, fortunately for you I am totally unaware of any GCA get-together in the Peach State in mid-April.  Unless you're referring to the Augusta National Invitational which for the 55th consecutive year I did not qualify.  Hope the heathens behind the hedgerows are behaving out on Long Island.
