#7 at Ballyneal is my favorite. My last 8 times playing it my scores have been 6-3-3-5-2-7-8-5. No pars.

P.S.: Don't slice your tee shot on that hole. (See "7" and "8" above.)

Short par 4's are my favorites. Besides the ones already mentioned.

Canoustie Championship Hole 3


3 or 4 viable options off the tee.  A cool green with pin positions that will influence which one you decide to try. Maybe the burn right in front of the green is too much of an issue for some.

My top short par-4 is the 6th on the St Olaf course at Cruden Bay. Hit, if you can,over a blind, narrow saddle, it's a pretty long hit though, turn half left and play onto a green built on a shelf in the side of a dune. Go left of the green and it's gorse and jungle, go right and it's a severe drop off. It's about 350, but it's not drivable so my nomination is....

........the 18th at TOC.

Honourable other mentions, 3rd at Carnoustie and 18th at Kington.
