In.

I'll just pull out what I call my "Uni-Course" that works well on any site.

Bogey

Somewhere I have a course designed on the back side of the pages of the syllabus from a particularly boring sales training meeting where I was lucky enough to get a seat in the back.  Reminds me now of Talking Stick, every hole was dead flat!

 8) Alex,

So are you having a routing contest or a real Armchair Architect Contest?  In past contests folks did a routing with all the features and even score cards and narrative description of holes... there will be a natural attrition as reality strikes.. and you're thinking about one page reviews of just routing???

Please clarify..

...Yes.

This will be a real Armchair Architect Contest with descriptions and yardages, BUT in order for any round of voting to take place that narrows this field down to a sizable number for the judges we need to have a limit on viewable material.

If the whole point of having a round of voting to narrow things down to a group of finalists is to make sure that the judges don't have too much material to go through, then there must be a limit to the material your average schmo is going to have to go through in the preliminary voting.

Hope that clears it up. I can't think of another way it would work at this point, but once the finalists are determined I think we can post detailed entries of those who did not make the cut.

My limit that I suggested is 1 page, but that page can have as detailed a routing as you like (you'll likely want it to be your routing).

I will donate an accompanied round at Ballyneal for the winner. Or should I say, the highest placed finisher next to me.

Alex, do you have a rough idea when the toppo  map will be posted for this. I'm keen to get into it befor the footy season starts here in Aus.
Never argue with an idiot. They will simply bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Damn, I was only thinking last week about whether this would be on again this year at the GIS in San Diego  :(

I'll go on the reserve list if there's one.

Sorry for the delays. I'm going to go with what I have later this afternoon. Although it is not of the same level of detail as previous maps I think it will certainly be usable for this go around. There will be a new thread so considered this one closed out  :).
