Here is the anchoring ban proposal!

Includes some useful illustrations of what will and will not be considered anchoring:

I'm frankly surprised the grip resting against forearm is allowed.  Isn't this essentially anchoring?  I can't wait to call someone on anchoring their elbow in a big money match at the penultimate hole however...

The prohibited "anchor point created by forearm" seems potentially problematic.

I'm ok with all of this.

Kuchar is a lucky bastard, but I think fairly so because that stroke still requires your arms or torso to rotate to make the stroke.

I have a reverse grip with the right hand (upper hand) gripping an extended putter against the length of my left forearm. My whole left arm, including above the elbow is well away from my body giving a free pendulum motion.

My right elbow is, for shorter putt,s tucked into my torso, for longer putts I allow more freedom and take it off my body.

I don’t have yips but developed this style back in the mid 80’s and love it.

Will I be illegal in 2016? ??? I don’t think so

John, you're fine. Elbows can be braced, but don't let your forearm touch your body!

Good advice on and off the course.

When Sam Snead used his bent over side saddle style, somebody said he looked like a man basting a turkey.

I thought about that image when reading Mr. Chilver-Stainer's comments above, on his method!
