1 and 4 from Dismal - I wanted to fit holes 5, 6, 9, and 17 in there also in addition to my choice of hole 8. Number 190 MODERN in the US they say?? Honestly, are we talking about the same course?!!!

Just to be clear, I did choose a hole from each of the two courses. But you aren't alone in wanting to plug in a few others from the Nicklaus course. I think very highly of the eleventh, definitely my favorite hole on the golf course, but the Eden wins out here.

Yes, old 201 looks like it is moving up the ranking lists. Its days as just another "Hidden Gem" on mrpgolf.com a distant memory.

Some good replies thus far.  Do folks realize that seven different holes from TOC have been mentioned - 1, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17 & 18?  Mind you, Greg cheated and mentioned two holes.  Perhaps more surprising is that Sunnningdale Old has four - all on the back nine #s 10, 11, 12 & 17!  

So far as I can tell, two holes have been mentioned three times; #3 @ Prestwick and Foxy.  Prestwick's 3rd has me intrigued.  Why did folks pick it?

A few people mentioned Ballybunion's 6th - a great hole.  I might have picked it except its ugly backdrop.
