Not a lot to say about it. I played it just once, more than 10 years ago, and at a point in my life when any access to a private club seemed like a big deal. To that end, I remember the conditioning being very nice, and very little about the course.

It's older, 50s I think?, but I do not recall the architect. Not a desert style course, but kind of faux-parkland with lots of planted trees and nice homes surrounding. Clubhouse is at the high ground so it's not a particularly hilly course but both nines kind of play down the mountain and then back up to the clubhouse.

Can't remember much more than that.

Lawrence Hughes did the original with input from Johnny Bulla in 1954 The course has been renovated a few times since by the likes of Cornish, Panks and more recently, Keith Foster. I understand another redo is scheduled by perhaps Coore. I can't remember.

Bill Coore is correct. Don't know when the work will start.

Keith Foster did his work in the mid-90's. It's a fun golf course and a better club. Enjoy your round there.

Played it a few times - Pretty solid track in a cool setting adjacent to Camelback Mtn.

I'd rate it higher than the other "parkland" courses in the PHX area and it's well worth a play.

Their dormant bermuda greens are SPECTACULAR - some of the best in the Valley (I assume they did it again this year).

The ground is also more interesting than Arizona CC or Phoenix CC, a little more roll and elevation change and the routing goes out and back a few times instead of up and down.

You will likely see some mucky mucks there.
