Pinehurst No. 2 links

Has anyone come across any features on either the recent work to Pinehurst No. 2 or the back to back 2014 Opens that they would recommend? Any links to anything you thought was informative on either subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are a number of videos on youtube.com about Pinehurst #2 and its recent restoration. This one lasts over 5 minutes:

Nate, the last chapter of my Ross book (Discovering Donald Ross, exp. edn.) documents the changes as well.

Thanks Brad, very helpful. I came across a story prior to the 2001 U.S. Open at Southern Hills discussing the USGA's decision to step away from the tradition of brutally deep rough beginning with the '99 Open at Pinehurst due to No. 2's turtleback greens and continuing this "more playable" rough through Southern Hills in '01.

Did this trend continue through the '05 return to No. 2? through the remainder of the 2000s?
