Nickent 7DT Hybrids....Quality or Crap?
« on: January 05, 2013, 02:19:26 PM »
I'm looking for a new hybrid to replace my Mizuno MP53 3-Iron.  I came across the Nickent 7DT hybrids at Dick's yesterday, and they felt great.  I know feel and playability vary player to player, so my question relates more to durability.  Is this club quality or crap, and will it last?  I know Dick's recently bought the Nickent brand and reviews online are all over the place.  Would rather hear from someone here that has played them.

If you like the Nickent I've got a mint '92 Geo Metro I'll make you a great deal on!

Going from Mizuno (high end with great feel), I'd recommend trying Titleist, Nike, or Cleveland hybrids.

New Nike Covert has some pretty impressive technology.

Find a couple demo days and swing them all.

Best of luck!

Titleist 910 hybrids can be had for a great price right now (~$150 new).  The 913s come out in a month or so.

I'm still using the original Nickent Genexs from 2006 or whatever.

Honestly, I've never found anything I hit better yet and at 35 bucks on ebay for one in good condition it's hard to beat the price.
