Hmmm.... tough.

I'd say based on how you explained the categories #3 and #1, however, the best photo all around is #5 in the second group however I think it's in the wrong category, while all the others are great and about family. 4 generations on the putting green and golfing together, wow, amazing experience!

Thank you, Eric Smith and Brian Sheehy, for posting your pics.  Even though they did not make the finals, I thoroughly enjoyed your submissions.

David:

As Quinn noted in his write-up, those are his "aunts."  Just one of the many photos that presents a stronger message when you combine the image with the submitter's intro.

Mike:

Finalists are posted on page 7.

Merry Christmas,

Sven

I thought you were a better judge than that  ;)

Thank you to the Committee for choosing my photo of #9 at RCD as one of the finalists. I knew I struck luck when the sun shone for the first time in days. Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time (except for the massive dune climb from the 11th tee). It's a view I'll never forget and happy to share!

Good luck to the other finalists. I think it's down to #3 and #4 in the golf course section.

#2 and #4 - mind you they're all great images. A stellar year.
