I second that Matt.

So many ways to hit that tee-shot.

Where is the par 3 Matt and Anders? At first glance, I thought it was the 10th at Swinley.

Managed to fluke playing a round on NB west links on probably the nicest day of the year, weather wise, we had in Scotland this year.

I really like the view back down the Dunes when you are in this area of the course. This particular photo was taken just off the 5th green.

Matt, was that from the Mashie?  I remember the light being pretty awesome that morning.

Perhaps not crack, as I've heard it doesn't cause the user to hallucinate.

C'mon...there's some bunkers, a hill, a green, and even a flag.  It's practically the same hole!   :D

Josh,

Yep, from the Sunday morning round of The Mashie. That morning I was pretty excited about how some of the pictures would turn out because the light and contrast were so good. They didn't turn out quite as I'd hoped. There are several good shots though, and I should probably post them when I get a chance, either on the Mashie thread or an existing thread featuring The Fort.

By popular demand (or just a few PM's) from the other GCA photo thread, I'm offering my favorite photo of 2012.  While this year was a great one from a golf course perspective, by a long shot this was my favorite photo.  I'm glad I was able to represent Tavistock CC in the pic!  It capped off, as one GCA'er referred to it, my "Forest Gump" year.  If you're going to lose to the Euro's, you might as well party with them!  JRP's pics above do a nice job of capturing things, and hopefully he'll post the pic of us hoisting our own magnums of Moet!

Is this #2? Remember being long on my approach. It went downhill from there.

Matt,
Definitely post them if you get a chance...I know I'd like to see them.  Seems like the Fort is a bit under-exposed on here as well.

Howard,

Nope, this is a view of the par 3 5th from 4 green. I understand your grief at #2 though, long is no place to be.

Wish I had a better quality picture, but the setting more than makes up for it.  6th tee at Westward Ho!
