i.e. if you want The Open we've gotta change it.

I hope they never get to muck around with Portrush, I'd bet a quirky hole like Purgatory would be a gonna.

He's not 100% accurate once again. MacKenzie and Ebert did work there in 2008. At the time they seemed to be the R&A/Dawson favourites. I wonder if they've since called in the Dr?

There's a very good course right next door, the Valley, where the tented village and practice ground could certainly be located. Most of that ground is, however, pretty humpty bumpty.
