NPR/TOC

For what it is worth NPR had a short tongue in  cheek "cute" piece on the old course renovations that said nothing about the controversy it has genertaed.

I am blocked out at work but if anyone feels like trying to round out the story for them I wanted to get this up right away.

Sorry to hijack an entire topic on this shortie but felt it was the only way to get it out to everyone who might be motivated.

Worthless story. Not worth 75 seconds of a person's time.

Nice music, though.

While I was disappointed they didn't sacrifice an extra 10 seconds of that music to mention the fact that many are opposed to the work, I also appreciate that it was meant as just a minor bit of news to toss a bit of sports into their broadcast.  Morning Edition rarely covers any sports news outside of major events, so I was surprised it was even brought up.

Incidentally if you're an at least moderately interested listener to any of NPR's programs, I can't recommend their free mobile app highly enough.  You can quickly and easily import any number of programs into a customized playlist, skip past stories of no interest to you, and focus on the good stuff.  Haven't had any technical glitches either.

Those liberal running dog communists on NPR. This is validation that the TOC defacing is a socialist plot ::)

I think you mean those reactionary conservative rednecks on NPR. You know the type that sides with the reactionary conservative types at the R&A.  ::)
