These words and their definitions really fall woefully short of capturing the level of nerdy behavior espoused and embodied by so many of us on this site.
Take Mark Pritchett for example...Super Geek Extraordinaire is a more apt description but still only just begins to scratch the surface.
Or Bart Bradley...my, oh my, oh my...I think it is best I don't even start down the slippery slope that is required to captured his golf nerd status.

Like any good geek would say "it takes one to know one".
Happy Thanksgiving my friend. You definitely want to stay off the slippery slope ....
I'll tell this story on myself.
Ed Oden, my friend Bryan, my son Matt, and I are playing European Club this summer. Ed hits into a fairway bunker that has sleepers on the front face. Ed says "I am going to see what happens if I bank it off those sleepers (geek)". I reply: "It won't work. The angle of reflection always equals the angle of incidence. Physics bro. (geek)" My son falls down laughing at my level of my geekitude.
Ed unfortunately hits under the ball with a 3 wood, popping it softly just over the top of the sleepers into the high grass and says "Oh, so that's what happens".
