Really surprised to see this Art Hill "gem" pop up on GCA.
Very hilly - carts required. A few decent holes. The 18th is the worst par five in golf. Last time I played (Labor day '02) the course was in miserable condition. To be fair, we were quite desperate for rain about that time.
Probably as bad a value as can be found for what is advertised to be a top public course.
Go play Lassing Pointe in nearby Union, KY. Or better yet, drive an hour south to Kearny Hill in Lexington. Both are much better courses and much better values.
Yes, the land is very hilly, and the budget was undoubtedly tight, but AH has done much better work around here- Shaker Run in Lebanon, OH, and Champions Trace in Lexington. KY, to name two.
