Hopefully any further stimulus will allow for money spent on golf, too. ;D

If I could write off lost balls I would be in a much lower bracket.

One way to look at the party election spendings is $5 per person, which seems reasonable.
But if they could have allocated the monies to golf courses, it would mean over $100k per course!
Thinking of Bob, Rihc, Bill, George, Neil, Dr. Childs, & Tiger.

Bill you are right we all know not to trust a guy who does not drink or play golf.

A man was walking down the street when he was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless man who asked him for a couple of dollars for dinner.

The man took out his wallet, extracted ten dollars and asked, “If I give you this money, will you buy some beer with it instead of dinner?”

“No, I had to stop drinking years ago,” the homeless man replied.

“Will you spend this on green fees at a golf course instead of food?” the man asked.

“Are you NUTS!” replied the homeless man. “I haven’t played golf in 20 years!”

“Well,” said the man, “I’m not going to give you money. Instead, I’m going to take you home for a shower and a terrific dinner cooked by my wife.”

The homeless man was astounded. “Won’t your wife be furious with you for doing that?

The man replied, “That’s okay. It’s important for her to see what a man looks like after he has given up drinking and golf.”

Mike:

I heard somewhere that the amount of money spent on the campaigns was the same as the amount Americans paid for their Halloween costumes this year.  In those terms (and your $5 per person quote), it doesn't sound that extreme.

Barry and Boner need to play more rounds together the next four years so we can get something done in this country.
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

Commie: advocate of a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party.

Sounds pretty much like what Karl Rove was after.
