And the PGA is treating us to Hazeltine the next time its here...

Wasn't chilly enough in Chicago this week, let's go even further north the next two times!

I know I'm not the only one on this board who has lived all over the US.  But speaking for my last ten years of residency, there are few places on earth I'd rather live and be than September/Fall in Minnesota.   Additionally, I believe we have more golfers per capita than anywhere in the U.S.  Minnesota/Hazeltine will be a fine 2016 host.

Well said Shane. The weather was darn near perfect up here last weekend.

I have played the Monarchs course a few times over the years and it is typical Nicklaus. The setting is beautiful, the design has some shots but it is very American in its play. I personally prefer the Kings and the Queens as they are quite a bit more interesting to me. This year I skipped playing the Monarchs despite the 18th green change (which is being changed again) and did not miss playing it while I enjoyed my rounds on the Kings and the Queens immensely. Sadly the Kings just doesn't have the length and the Monarchs will hold more spectators and make viewing much easier for them. Kings and Queens are special, I am not sure I can say the same for the Monarchs (or Centenary as they now call it).
