After hopefully surviving the 11th and 12th, two of the hardest holes on the course, the golfer is given a breather. The 13th is a gentle uphill dogleg left par four requiring only a wedge second after a well placed drive down the left side.
The 14th is a short to mid iron par three (depending on the wind) to another plateau green, which if missed can present all kinds of deep rough problems. Lost balls, by the way, are common at Askernish, as the native grasses are not only high but also very thick.
The 15th, a dogleg left par four to a hidden valley green, presenting quite a difficult approach. Below is one shot of each hole, in order.
