Nice article. I have been watching his work at nearby Ridgewood and it is really good.  Perhaps the simplest yet most dramatic is changing the mowing patterns to remove rough that protected many bunkers.

   Thanks for profiling Gil and giving readers some more back ground. He and Jim are doing some great things at some superb venues. The work they did at Plainfield CC is fantastic. That is just one place they have restored to a new luster.
