A common response to "underrated elements" in GCA was mowing lines.
How does time affect mowing lines? Does it lead to entropy where 30 years' time results in lines that ruin a hole, or can it lead to improvements in the flow and play of a hole - based on knowledge gained after thousands of rounds played?
What other attributes of mowing lines are most critical? Bunkers in the rough, narrowing of fairways, encroachment of trees, etc.?
