The Philly guys haven't mentioned Glen Mills yet, I recall poles there. Until this thread was started I never even thought about the poles anywhere.

Sam: I think Glen Mills is the best course I have played that has them. Of course, I am biased against it since I played terribly in a tournament there.

I was the first tee time on a Friday, I'd gotten toasted at Coyote Ugly in New York, snuck booze on to the train, like 2 hours of sleep. I think I shot 48-35 or something silly like that.

I played Lost Dunes yesterday and they have the 150 poles. For some reason I didn't remember them but I'm pretty sure they've always been there.

Due Process has them as 150 markers, but, they work quite well in that environment where the aura of horse racing is pervasive throughout the golf course.

That's a good one Sam.  Of all the Philly area courses, that might be the winner.

2nd place perhaps is Sand Barrens down at the south Jersey shore.

I would rather all courses have them - it does help speed up play
