I played here many times as a kid, and always considered that fifth green unplayable. Now I know it's actually a laudable example of quirk. Nicely done!(Now, if you REALLY want quirk, put some beers in your bag and go find Milford Manor.)
The designer is undoubtedly Willie Park Jr., circa 1901 Jokes aside, it does look like an interesting property for golf. Thanks, Mark.
Whats this? Singled out for kudos by the what I can only surmise is the second most (surely B Sheehy takes the cake) intrepid golf traveller of these many months? You are most welcome. Believe me, I get more pleasure from playing these wee wunders than you get from reading about them. I really like the look of the 6th - including the mini plateaux green. Is there any advantage to driving right of the water?Ciao

I didn't have time to pay but it looks like some good fun. Based on the 50-year-old looking sign outside I don't think the price has changed in a while: Adults $12, Kids $5.

While I have been fortunate too see many new golf courses over the past year, they have all been in the United States (not that I'm complaining); Brian travels willy-nilly across the Atlantic like it's crossing from the Canada into the US at the Ambassador Bridge. Driving right of the water on 6 would not be advantageous and one would only find themselves over there by accident. Not pictured is the par-3 7th with what could be an unbelievable skyline green, if not for a single fir tree behind the green (damn green committee )

I once hit the second green with a putter, and the ninth is the only hole I can remember playing with a greater-than-90-degree dogleg. Wedge-wedge.
