I have no idea what Tillie's cartoon dog's name was, but I'd love the Cornish and Whitten book if you are giving it away. Haapy to pay shipping.

Whiffenpoof?  If I've got it, give the books to the most likely person on the Pajaro Valley crew that would read them.   ;D

Two guesses:

Double Leg

The almighty Google suggests: Sneezer. Is that cheating?

Whiffenpoof is correct. Really took a detective to get it?
Good Job Dick.
Second choice to send the books to?
The guys at Pajaro can only read greens!
(but, they're really good at it)

Hey Pete, I don't know...  I had a set of every GCM magazine, pristine condition from 1990-04, and as you know the last Dec issue always has an index of all the turf articles.  I took them to our maintenance shed last summer because they hire turf interns, and lugged several boxes of them in for the kids.  There must be some area school agronomy or turf students somewhere in that region that also get off on GCA...  I have all of the ones you mentioned...  ::)  But, I'm keeping them for bed time reading when I get too old to play.  ;D....

Probably next year....  ::) :-\

Tillie mentions the dog or there is a cartoon or something in one of the "Course Beautiful" trilogy... too lazy to look it up...
