Walk on Bandon/Chambers Bay
« on: May 05, 2012, 06:48:37 PM »
In September I may be in the northwest.  Is it possible to walk on or reserve a tee time 24-48 hours in advance  as a single at Bandon and/or Chambers Bay?

Thanks

It is usually no problem to walk on to either.

In 2009, we visited the NW without golf clubs (to save money).  But, since we were driving by, we stopped at Bandon Dunes.  Got there about 2:30, and went to the Bandon Trails clubhouse.  First tee was wide open and the friendly staff graciously offered to outfit us with clubs to enjoy a quick 18.

At that point, I understood how those ancient mariners felt when they heard the call of the sirens :)
