I will go a bit each way on this one.

Elements of it are very cool

Having a few beers on the patio whist hitting a few shots at the island green would be awesome.

But from what I can tell from the photos, the island green, sitting so high, would look terrible from almost anywhere else on the property.  The tie ins thorugought look worse than ugly to me.

The Augusta 12th and 13th holes also look superfluous to anyone's needs.
Ask not what GolfClubAtlas can do for you; ask what you can do for GolfClubAtlas.

Two things...

1. It looks ridiculous and weird, but also like one would never get bored. There are SO many different shots to hit.

2. Did he really name his dog, Pedo? (See caption of photo #10.)

I see the Road Hole on the right side of the photo in the link...

Complete with the wall and everything. Wow.

Good call on the Road Hole green.

What's the green in the lower right corner? I can't remember a long skinny bunker like that anywhere.

It's is certainly not the prettiest work of "architecture" in the golfing world but, come on, tell me you wouldn't honestly LOVE to host a BBQ with 10 of your best friends at this place.  I've never been a Pelz fan - way too much reliance on stats and science when the short game is more of an art.  This coming from a former teaching pro and caddie.  But, I gotta say I am a little (lot) jealous of the amount of fun it would be to have something like this.  If it were me, I would certainly tone it down and not go for all the replica nonsense.  Cool nonetheless!

Cheers

Yes, the TPC island green is heinous!...especially as an elevated version!

There is some serious hating going on in this thread. It's over the top sure but it looks cool.

I think it would be a good place to gamble-- e.g play 21 , but not that good for serious practice

See the note here...it is not a replica...just a practice hole.

Yea maybe if one of my friends was M.C. Hammer.  Homes like this usually signal the end of a career.
