Poor Hogan, and everyone else,  must have been embarrassed in that last set of pics.

Everyone else was wearing ties, even the little kids, except for him....the horror of it to show such disrespect to his fans!!   :o :o :o

I'm also completely baffled by the lack of respect shown in this picture....

...we wouldn't have had all these pictures to look at if the fellow who took these pics was obeying the rules!!  Lol...

Hooliganism on the course back then was alive and well it would seem.

I just looked at the 7/20/53 issue and there are some good photos there as well that really emphasize the bad weather that week, but none of these are here.

I'm betting that they didn't make the magazine. I can't confirm that since I have not viewed the magazines.
