While it was a warm short winter, B'side, which had Fescue spec'd when it opened, lost quite a bit of what was left, this winter. I keep hoping it isn't out of dormancy, but after today, it was likely winter kill. I'd assume, the wind was what did the trick. Likely drying out the crown? The most obvious spot is on the slope of the back bowl, on the Par 3 17th. It faces south southeast. Which is, and was the prevailing, most of the winter.
Someone might want to stop by soon and at least check it out.
