I can't find it online, but I'm a huge fan of the milk bottle logo from McArthur GC in Jupiter, FL.

Other than that, I love the logos from Bulls Bay and The Olde Farm, from both of which I had the presence of mind to snag a hat!

Tim-White Manor in Philly has the milk can logo-love it!

I actually don't think Pebble Beach is recognizable at all. It's sort of a nondescript tree. Shinnecock is more recognizable than Pebble I think, if for no reason more than indian mascots and logos are becoming rarer. From a personal standpoint, before someone added a picture of Pebble's logo, I don't think I would have been able to remember what it was and I consider myself a pretty well-rounded golfer. That's just my opinion though, of course.

David,

You asked which is the most recognizable logo in golf, did you not?  Poll 10 of your buddies. Take both the Shinny logo and the Pebble logo, sans the accompanying script and let us know the results.  I'll bet you a $100 that Pebble wins out, even with its sort of a nondescript tree. ;D

Don't know which is most famous, but the best logo I have seen, hands down in my view, is Laurel Valley's.  Know idea how to track it down and get it up here, but it is gorgeous.

So I'd ask for 3 answers:

1. What's the most widely recognizable club logo in golf? Agreed on Pinehurst

2. What's the best club logo?  Merion (though Winged Foot is right up there)

3. Darkhorse(s) for best logo? SFGC or Myopia

1.  Most widely recognized - Augusta National (pin coming out of Ga on US map)
2.  Best - Merion
3.  Darkhorse - Arcadia Bluffs

Can't believe no one has mentioned Bandon's Puffin as a logo (or even Pac Dunes).

Others that I like:

Seminole
Ballyneal
White Bear Yacht Club
Fox Chapel
Black Sheep Golf Club
