If you have them up on the internet so they can be accessed, all you have to do is push the quote button on someones post with pictures in it and you should be able to see clearly how it is done.

Mike,

This is my somewhat bastardises version of instuctions that someone else (i have forgotten who, I'm sorry) put up some months ago.

go to www.photobucket.com
register
there will be a large tab offering you to upload photos
Do so
Once this is done, click into your pics
On the right of the screen next to the pic you will see a list of ways to share the photo
Click on the IMG code (it will flash when you do to indicate it is copied)
Come on here and paste the IMG code and you're sorted

Cheers Colin

My go-to thread on how to use Photobucket to help post a photo:

For awhile you could upload them directly to GCA.com, but they did away with that.

Now you need to upload them to something like photobucket, and then copy and past the link to them using the img brackets.

P.S.  I wish we had a real "Sticky" section for this very reason, so people could easily access helpful threads for GCA.com

There is no "uploading" per se on GCA.com

Viewable images are merely linked to this discussion board.

So, if the image you want to display is located on your personal computer, you need to put it on the internet somewhere and then link the image to a post.

The easiest way is to type their web addresses here incorrectly and someone will fix it for you.

I just ask Mike Benham to do it for me, it is as simple as that.

Someday it will be as easy as some other online forums where you can upload directly...

I think you can do this, or at least you could for awhile. My recollection is the pix were smaller this way.
