The high tides and coastal flooding on parts of the Jersey Shore are worse than Hurricane Sandy. Bad news.

My niece was on one of the buses stranded in Pennsylvania overnight.

Being from North Dakota and having eight siblings.........,

she was no doubt enjoying the mild weather and relative solitude ;) ;)

My wife is from Jamestown.  There are a lot of people FROM North Dakota.

David,

B.S.

There was no where near the damage done vs Sandy.

Some flooding from the Bay side, but no major damage.

Don't believe everything you read or hear on TV.

"Don't believe everything you read or hear on TV."

Good advice Pat. I certainly don't believe everything I read on the gca.com chatboard! ;)

http://mashable.com/2016/01/23/blizzard-coastal-flooding/#KyrBzzZ6sEq4

"The storm surge on Saturday morning beat the level seen during Hurricane Sandy in 2012,"

"This, in my opinion, is worse than (Hurricane) Sandy," Len Desiderio, the mayor of Sea Isle City, N.J., told CBS Philly Sunday. "We're dealing with severe Flooding."

"Record high levels of water were reported in three New Jersey locations: Great Channel at Stone River, Cape May Harbor and Delaware Bay at Cape May, the Weather Channel said. Floodwaters rose to 9.27 feet in Lewes, Del., on Saturday, setting a record there."
