Dye course at PGA Village (Port Saint Lucie)
« on: March 29, 2012, 10:36:59 PM »
NGLA is probably my favourite golf course to look at on Google maps. I love all the angles and oblique hard-lined hazards that slice thru the fairways. I think out of all courses I have seen on google maps the Dye Club at PGA Village is one of the best at capturing a little bit of this feel. I have never played this course so I do not know how it plays....though I have seen a few pics and it looked interesting. Does anyone know more about this course...anyone got any photos to share? Here is the aerial. I think it looks super interesting from space! ;)

If PGA Village is in Port St. Lucie, yes, I've played it.  I really liked it.  Crushed coquina as a hazard...it can be hard to play out of greenside.  I remember several threads on the course over the years.

Love it...it's a personal fave.  They are running stay and play packs for USD 179 now.

Christian and I get my 88 year old father out there at least once each during each visit to Florida. We are usually first off and play in 2 1/2 hours enabling my father to get back to his duties as condo Casanova more quickly.  :). Hazards are set at every angle possible within and surrounding the fairways and are considered waste areas which allows Dad to plow right through with his cart.  Inexplicably, it is the course with the least amount of play at PGA Village but the one we enjoy the most.
