I do agree with Anthony in regard to the blindness of the first three holes   but in the words of Tommy Armour “A blind hole is only blind if a golfer wants,” or a blind hole is only a blind once.

Agreed 100%. After a blind hole is played the first time, one knows what's on the other side. The mystery and the guessing as to where the shot has come to rest then becomes one of the wonderful aspects of golf. I know from experience that it is the case on National's first three holes.
