I think Pebble Beach has 2 courses in the world class category. Yet, it is now run for high end corporate types. it does not provide the golf experience one gets at Bandon. I have not been to Bardougle but guess it is much closer to Bandon than Pebble. Pinehurst is a bit too corporate for me a swell. It will be interesting to see what the experience will be  at Streamsong.

I have been fortunate enough to experience Pebble, Bandon and Barnbougle.

Like Bandon, Barnbougle is all about the golf, but on a much lesser scale. It simply offers lodging, dining and a golf course. There is no caddie master of staff running around for you. It is minimalism in the truest sense.
