I am guessing they will use the "matchplay" routing at Harding that was used in the Presidents Cup to move holes 15-16-17-18 into the round earlier in the back-9.

Looks like the format for the matchplay will be changed in 2015. There will be 16 "groups" of round-robin play and the 16 group winners will advance to the knock-out draw. All entrants will get to play at least 3 matches.

The revised format makes sense, from a tv ratings standpoint.  More face time with the top players, vs a one and done possibility.

I think it makes sense from the players' point of view as well. If they travel across the country or half-way around the world they know they are going to get to play at least 3 matches that mean something.

The 2 guys who get to the finals will play 7 rounds in 5 days. That is a lot of golf!
