GCA Magazine App

Anyone using this app in place of receiving their printed copy of Golf Course Architecture? Just curious. I see the app is $3.13 in the Android marketplace, does this give you one issue or access to all back issues and new ones as they come out?

I leave for "Mecca" tomorrow. First time not staying at the resort, picked a motel right on the water near Kronenberg County Park. I give myself 2 holes to think I can challenge your 66 on Bandon Trails, then I'll go back to playing my regular game.

i actually just converted my golf week subscription from softcopy to hard copy.

You get one free "complimentary" issue for your $3 or whatever.

And then expected to pay for additional issues.

I'll probably get a couple, but if I would have known that up front I probably wouldn't have bothered.

Emilio - thanks for flagging this up. It's £5.99 (I think US$10, but I'm not sure) for an annual subscription once you have the app. That's compared to £19.80 (in the UK; it's more for overseas delivery) for the printed issue.

Didn't mean to dismiss the app, in fact I just bought it.  For anyone who hasn't seen the magazine, it's in a completely different class than any of the other golf mags with regards to GCA and while nothing beats the paper edition, the electronic version is a great value IMO.
