Was going to post that, even though it reflects badly on at least some golfing Texans.....Last time we made national news, I think it was for a strip club hosting a tourney on a local course and all getting arrested.

Was lead story on 10 PM news last night.  Didn't realize until reading the article that the incident happened on 1-27.

I don't think it reflects poorly on Texas per se...

I've played golf all over the west coast and seen this tense/hostile behavoir everywhere when it comes to slow play.  It just took a Texan to take it to the next level, thats all.

As someone who grew up in Texas and still plays a lot of golf there, it's much easier to get a group to let you play through there than Washington DC, where I live now.  DC was recently named the 3rd rudest area in the country (we're coming for you New York and Miami) and I suspect the survey included the group playing ahead of me that's not letting me go through.
