I played it about two years ago and thought it was a lot of fun. The ND Triple Challenge (Bully Pulpit, Links of ND and Hawktree) is a great value and gives you the chance to play three courses each with a particular style unlike the others.
The Links of ND has a minimalist feel not found at the other two. There's a good bit of elevation change, and the routing seems to emphasize the most dramatic parts of the property at good intervals through out the round. Kay did a great job of providing suitable width for a course where the wind may be a factor, and there are plenty of quirky features to make things fun. The course has a Wine Vally/Portmarnock feel to it, which is an odd combination but somehow makes sense.
The area in general is very dramatic, with great views of the Missouri. The ghosts of Lewis & Clark really do seem to haunt the area. Not sure what else there is to do in the area other than spend some time outdoors.
