so, who's coming to Bonnie Scotland in 2012?

The Olympics are on in a nearby country, the winter's been mild (so far....), it's a Ryder Cup year, the english queen's been on the throne for 60 years (I have advised her about Senokot) and according to the Mayans the world ends on my 52nd birthday, so you'd best hurry up. Get your lardy merkin butts here NOW!

Oh, and the Pandas are sooooooo cute...easy sell to wifie, boys. ;)

Adelaide has pandas, Sydney had the Olympics in 2000, Melbourne had the presidents Cup a few months ago (I was there) and there are numerouse 'Queens' around OZ.  Queen Liz visits sometimes, and I have already been to Bucking-huge Palace to see her, Chuck and Di in their back yard (20 years ago!).  So, no need for an imminent visit.

That said, I might be visiting in 2013 April.  The 'reverse' Thames run is on in that ton called London and I have a friend who has conned me into doing it.  I hope there is some golf involved before my feet give up!

I had a trip to Scotland booked in for April, but we are now going to Adelaide in March instead. 

Pandas were not a factor in either decision.

Pandas were not a factor in either decision. 

Fringe Festival David?  We are doing a lot of shows.  I doubt you are coming for the group A touring cars (Clipsal 500).
