THM Redan series -- what happened?
« on: January 19, 2012, 08:51:09 PM »
I recall the template hole madness series Rich Choi was running in regard to Redan holes, but unless I missed something, we got down to 16 or 32 holes and it stopped.

Is that coming back? Did I just miss the final stages? What's the story?

The thread was blacked out due to the Stop Online Piracy Act, because North Berwick, Inc. has copyrighted the Redan name.

Bravo.

I blacked out all mentions of the XXXXX name.

I was wondering the same thing. But since you bring it up, what happened to Richard Choi? Does he still post?

My initial thought was "did something happen to Richard?", but I saw he posted quite recently, maybe last week some time.

I think Richard has been busy, he's been on the board but not as much as in the past.

I'm guessing Rich has been busy hitting up his buddies at Microsoft to come up with a team to buyout Ballyneal!!

Sorry, but I decided to take some time off and reduce my involvements on this site after getting involved in some series of threads/posts that I found offensive. I was just getting little too emotional on this site and I decided to step away a bit instead of just ratcheting it up higher and making it worse.

I am not going to revisit the THM series. I want to keep a lower profile for awhile. If someone else wants to take it over, you are more than welcome to do so.

Not that's funny!

Richard,

That's incredibly unfortunate as your contributions to the site are invaluable.  Look forward to your return to the site in due course.

Are you kidding? We were just one round away from from some REAL good fights.

But what I really liked about the thread was the fact that we would get to break down all the redans (reverse, uphill, downhill, fake redans, etc.) I thought it would have been a great exercise in studying my favorite hole.
