@Brown_Golf I use twitter to promote firm, fast and brown golf. It's been a great tool to follow fellow superintendents and golf writers and anything else I may have an interest in. It's been great to use when skiing to find out when certain parts of the mountain will open, or to report frost delays.
It has mostly supplanted Facebook as that is only close friends and seems to have become a giant baby album. Twitter has potential to reach and hear from a much larger audience.

@thomasballen.  I'm much more of a reader than a poster.  I too tend to follow a lot of golf writers and players. I follow a smattering of unrelated others, too.

I find Twitter informative, and a great way to get instantaneous news, as opposed to waiting days or weeks for print publications to write their stories.  I'll be happy to follow fellow GCA'ers now as well.
